Archos has been making tablets for a few years now i own the Archos 7 I noticed that all the reviews were saying in effect that it is archos's response to the IPad. This is entirely untrue Archos has had plans for the release of this items since before christmas If anything the IPad is a response to the Archos 9. If I may add the IPad has a maximum hard drive of 64gb which is to say the least very small. The Archos 7 has a capacity of 160-320gb and the Archos 9 has a capacity of 80gb still more than the IPad. On another note I thought it very funny that the "IPad" was being joked about as a woman's toiletry item aka the resolution for that monthly problem.
